On May 8th, 2013, Crawford Industries received the 2013 Business of the Year Award during Crawfordsville’s Annual Chamber of Commerce Recognition Dinner. There were two such awards given out, one for a “small” business and one for a “large” business, which is the one Crawford Industries was awarded.
The Executive Director of the Chamber Board, Steve House, gave a brief history of Crawford Industries and made mention of the Governor’s visit to our facility as he presented the award to Crawford Industries’ HR Supervisor, Roxie Johnson, and Managing Director, David Sullivan.
“Today, 54 years later [after being founded], Crawford Industries is recognized as the top large business in Montgomery County,” House said (Journal Review).
Crawford Industries is incredibly excited and honored to be recognized in the Crawfordsville business community, and David thanked them in return for such an honor.
Our business began in 1959 by Ken Crawford, who focused primarily on producing loose leaf binders and plastic products. Those products soon became used nationwide by other plastic manufacturers, which have helped our business eventually evolve the products we are able to offer today!
